INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST TABOO
This is a sequence of six stories : ILLUMINATION, REAFFIRMATION, CELEBRATION, AUTANA, THE HERO IS BACK and FIGHTING DRAGONS written in response to INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE. The premise of the sequence is an incestuous homosexual relationship between Indiana Jones and his father, Henry. Because of their controversial nature they have previously had a very limited private circulation and they are made public here for the first time. If you are not sure whether you will enjoy them or not, remember two facts:
1. THESE CHARACTERS ARE FATHER AND SON
2. THEY HAVE SEX.
It's not particularly graphic, admittedly, but it IS incestuous and it is not glossed over or explained away. There are reasons for it, but they are not excuses. IF YOU CANNOT ACCEPT THE IDEA OF A FATHER AND SON ENJOYING A SEXUAL RELATIONSHIP, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU.
Father/son incest is rare, but it happens. The characters in these stories are mature adults at the start of their sexual relationship and no-one is coerced into anything. (Imagine how easy it would be to coerce Indiana Jones against his will!) If they had met as strangers or as old friends during the 'Last Crusade' movie there would have been zines filled with slash fiction about them a long time ago. Although they were father and son, however, they were virtually strangers to one another when the movie began. The story of the 'Last Crusade' is the story of how their relationship began again from scratch. 'The Last Taboo' sequence merely takes it a step further.
